Bella’s path would be my preferred route forward with Bianca.
I find Bianca's cheating more appealing in Bella's Path just because she isn't single. It seems more appealing to have her discover her dark side while cheating on someone, than just being a terrible best friend and giving into lust like she is on Jills

Yeah, plus there's more of a push for her when (presumably) she finds out about Matthew cheating with Olivia. Speaking of which, I noticed on my Bella save that Bianca's bio had a note saying I caught those two cheating in Rusty's room. Should that be the case? I thought it was only on a Jill path that they were "caught", and on every other path you don't know them, so it's just a random couple kissing...

Okay, so I decided to do an update of the cards anyway. Here is my refreshed BaDIK set in all its glory:
BaDIK.jpg
Those familiar with the game thread in particular might query the absence of Yoga Girl/Cinderella/Thirsty Ghoul, but until we have a name for her (potentially Nikita, but that's not confirmed), she can't have a card! She'd certainly be right up there on the top row though, I think. Leanne normally wouldn't get a card, but since I was doing a bunch of new ones anyway, I couldn't leave her out - as you can see, she is on my top row as she's very much my type.

This one started out fairly promising, with a nicely done intro and some decent renders. Apart from one thing that I personally would call a big error in judgement, I was quite enjoying the early stages of the game. There is an intro screen that asks you to input your chosen name for the MC, however, this only comes up after the prologue, and in that prologue, you have a conversation with a key character in which she calls you “MC” several times, because you haven’t yet chosen a name. In the script, it does refer to “[name]” here, so it’s set to take the user-entered name, even though the place you enter it doesn’t come along until later.

There are some nice LIs in here, and you try to build relationships with those in the household, but there are hints of things going on that have yet to be explained, and it makes it difficult to get too close too soon. As is common in these games, that means the majority of the sex scenes so far (or at least, the ones that involve the MC) tend to be with girls I would consider side girls or even just one-offs.

Not far into the story, the MC gets involved in a mysterious game that plays out through messages to his phone. A task will be set, with a deadline to perform it and a monetary reward for completion. As the game progresses, these tasks get increasingly more dangerous, at least in the “risk destroying your relationship with everyone you care about” kind of way.

I didn’t really like this task-based game, which is a shame, because it’s pretty much the key element of the actual game itself. Whoever is running it seems to know everything, and see everything, and there’s no way I can think of to explain how that is possible, without it being some sort of chip implanted in the MC (and other players?) so they can see through his eyes. It just makes no sense to me how they can see literally everything. I presume (would hope) that it will be explained at some point, but it’s too late for me as the game has lost me, so I won’t be around to hear that explanation.

The last piece to report on is something that I dislike, and I know a lot of other people do as well, and that is a choice that isn’t a choice. At one point I was given the option to go to the club or not. Conversation before this choice makes “not” the correct choice, as I would want to build the relationship with the person I was talking to, and going to the club would damage that. However, if you select “not”, the MC’s thoughts say that he won’t be able to complete his current task if he doesn’t go to the club, so he goes anyway. I hate when games give you a “choice” when it’s only one option so you just have to click it to continue, but I might hate it even more when you get a choice and the game ignores the selection. There’s no point in either of these, devs should skip putting in a “choice” and just send you where they want you to go…

There's no NTR in this game. In case you refer to me saying about sex scenes "at least, the ones that involve the MC", that is just because some of them are solo scenes.
sorry i mistaked between 2 games lol negative point in 1st version the sister bestie, tell him she don t want a relation.Same he say to the nanny he don t to see her annoye

Being a DIK (my review) If it was any other game, I’d probably just say it was a “good” update, but for 15 months, or however long it was between updates, it just feels like we should have got something amazing, and it falls a fair bit short of that for me.
I gotta agree with you here. I had fun playing it, but if I had to describe the update, it’d be kinda 'uninspired' (by Badik standards). Hopefully, the next chapter won’t take thaaat long to come out.

Yeah, it's a bit of an odd one, because it was actually a not bad update at all. It just wasn't the sort of update I'd expect from that long a development time. I am not optimistic, but hopefully the next update won't take as long - the gap gets longer each time, but there's nothing to say it can't get shorter now and then too!

I 'discovered' it kinda late (early 2022), so I don’t know how long the update cycles were for the first episodes. My first 'long' wait was for the Halloween episode (I was blown away by the crazy number of 8K renders in just one update!)

I picked it up about a year ago, so I've only picked up that info through what other people have said!

I didn't look at the original, but what I played is part of the rework. There's no sandbox (maybe a couple of small free roams? I can't remember), but I can't say what's different betwen the two versions, of course.

Jessica O’Neil’s Hard News by StoperArt

Jessica O’Neil’s Hard News is one of those games that annoys me a bit because it took me so long to get to! Not only had I had it on my list for ages, but I also downloaded it and still didn’t get round to playing it for a good long time. When I did though, I really liked it. It looks great, it has attractive characters, hot (and varied) lewd scenes, and some pretty decent story elements stitching it all together.

There are a lot of options in this game, giving the player a pretty good amount of freedom to pick and choose the direction the story goes in – or rather, how the scenes of the story play out, I suppose. There are scenes that may be missed because of choices made (either in the moment, or previously), but the actual main narrative can only be influenced, rather than changed. I do like how the main story is separate from any of the romantic or sexual parts of the story though, so it isn’t just there to take us from one sex scene to the next.

That story itself is quite simple, but quite interesting. The FMC is a rookie journalist, and we follow her as she investigates leads for a main story, and conducts research and interviews for other stories, many of which feel like they might have some areas of crossover. The obvious path for a game like this to take would be to trade sexual favours for information for these stories, and there’s an element of that, of course. I like how it’s not the only option though, as sometimes it’s money changing hands, or even a non-sexual quid pro quo.

Depending on choices made, the relationships can start to become their own story as well. I really like how, if certain choices are taken, you can really see the relationship between the FMC and her boyfriend starting to become strained. It’s not just when this is directly referenced in conversation as well, but there are little differences like whether the couple greet each other with a “Hi babe” and a kiss or just a “Hi” and a wave, or whether or not they sit or walk with their arms around each other, etc. I really thought this was a well-done aspect, with some of those parts of it being quite subtle.

The choices themselves can be a little frustrating though. I did find that sometimes scenes are blocked because of choices made previously, but when you consider who and what is involved, it doesn’t seem like they should be blocked. Sometimes there can be a lot of progression with a certain character, but because of one choice made on day 4 (for instance), certain parts of a scene on day 17 still won’t happen. Although it can be said for many games, there are also some scenes where it’s essentially a choice between one LI and another, but you feel that there should be an option to fit both into the day without stretching believability.

I said the scenes are varied and hot, and I like how that variation covers lots of different acts with both male and female (and sometimes both) LIs. There are a couple of characters (one male, one female) who get the majority of the scenes, other than the boyfriend, but there are a decent number of other characters who are “lewdable” as well. Sadly, some of the most attractive characters are either not “lewdable”, or are only minimally so, up to the point of the latest update (0.65) at least. Within the scenes, I did also find that the animations were really well done. Sometimes the quality of the animations can be a real drawback, but that’s definitely not the case here.

A random note that I just remembered when adding the character cards below: I really like that we have a game here where the FMC wears glasses. I don't remember seeing that much elsewhere.
