You are right but you are not getting it. Selling a game on steam means that you want people to buy it. It's easier to get a lot of people to buy your game if you reduce or remove the most controversial aspects of it, at least to a degree. I think that would explain why this game became more tamed as time passed. I bet the creator started noticing the potential in his own creation and what started as a breaking statement of freedom, became more conventional with every release. Just start the game and see how it changes. It's crazy easy to notice.No it's not. Steam really only cares about underage/underage settings (like high school). Patreon is far more restrictive on the content you're allowed to have.
THat being said, I don't care. As long as the story and the characters keep being as cool as they, I may be grateful, even. Easier to share with some friends if the main character doesn't urinate in females too often.
